Lowell College: Spring 2042

Spring 2042 - Senior: Phoebe Centowski; Sophomores: Nate Centowski, Theo Centowski, Matt Ottomas, Opal Raymond; Freshmen: Christian Andrews, Ellie Fairchild, Justin Kim, Meg Stanton, Aimee Wheeler.

This semester Matt has been trying to patch things up with Meg.

"So what do you think of college so far?"

"It's good. My classes are interesting, and I've met lots of cool people."

"I heard you're dating Christian."

"Yeah, I am. What about you? Do you have a girlfriend?"

"Uh not really. You know..."

"Yeah."

Christian really likes Meg, but lately he's been thinking that he's too young to be so settled down. Just because he has a girlfriend doesn't mean he can't flirt a little with other girls. But he's careful not to do anything where Meg might find out.

Ellie is determined to lose the Freshman 15 that she gained last semester, and she and Aimee have been going to the gym together almost every day.

All of that hard work pays off, and Ellie ends up in even better shape than when she was in high school.

"You look hot," Matt says.

"Thanks. It helps when you live next to the gym."

Ellie doesn't take her classes too seriously. They're just freshmen, and their writing seminar is pretty easy. She spends most of her time hanging out and having fun. Meg is usually busy studying or being with Christian, but at least Justin is always up for playing video games.

Sometimes Aimee coaxes Justin into studying with her.

But a lot of the time he hangs out with his friends while she's working. He doesn't need to study very much to get a B, and that's good enough for him.

Since they live in the same dorm, even when she spends the entire day in the library, they can still have a little time together.

Nate and Theo are sad that their big sister will graduate in the spring.

"I'll visit," she says. "And you two can always come visit me. I found a great apartment off Main Street."

Phoebe has been spending a lot of time studying this semester. It's her last semester, and she wants to do well in her political science seminar. She and her brother Nate have become library buddies.

Theo has also been studying a lot more than usual. Opal is a good influence on him.

To deal with overcrowding in the dorms, Lowell College is constructing some townhouses where upperclassmen can live. Nate, Theo, Opal, and Matt are planning to live in one next year.

"We won't have to eat dining hall food anymore," says Opal.

"But none of us can cook," says Nate.

"We can make mac and cheese. That's why it comes in boxes."

  1. Ellie is really cute, and wow on Meg, I hope she does find out that her guy is flirting with cheerleaders, and can find someone better!

haha on the mac and cheese, if that and frozen pizzas aren't the food of college, than I don't know what is!

  2. Thanks for the comment retromaisie!

I have a hard time writing these college updates; there are so many characters, I end up doing more gameplay than storytelling. I don't know about your sims, but mine aren't very good at being monogamous! So far there haven't been any real consequences of Christian's wandering eye, but we'll see.

  3. It is hard to play the big groups, I had issues with my Grammar School, so I just do the POV of the teacher. Makes it easier for me! And yes, there are a few sims that are rather frivolous with their affections. Thankfully most don't go too far once they settle down!
