Fall 2041 - Senior: Phoebe Centowski; Sophomores: Nate Centowski, Theo Centowski, Matt Ottomas, Opal Raymond; Freshmen: Christian Andrews, Ellie Fairchild, Justin Kim, Meg Stanton, Aimee Wheeler.
This year Lowell College has a big freshman class. Justin, Meg, and Ellie are all freshman and live in Cabot Hall, along with their friends Christian Andrews and Aimee Wheeler from Bridgeport.
Justin and Aimee have been dating for almost six months, and they're pretty much inseparable.
Justin loves living in the same dorm as his friends, but he's less thrilled about other aspects of college life.
"What are you doing in here? Get out!" he yells at the mascot.
Their freshman seminar isn't very demanding, so Justin has plenty of time to play video games with Christian.
He and Christian both play sports - he's on the swim team, and Christian plays basketball - and in the evenings they go running together.
Meg and Ellie's rooms are next door to each other.
"Does my butt look bigger?" Ellie asks. "I think I spent too much time at Ricky's restaurant. He's been teaching me how to cook."
Meg and Christian have been dating since prom, and things are going pretty well.
Living in a dorm, it's hard to have privacy. But they manage to sneak around late at night when everyone else is asleep.
But that doesn't stop Christian from looking at other girls.
Justin goes over to Washington Hall to meet new people, but the kids there don't seem very impressed by his stories of living in Takemizu Village.
Things with Theo and Opal are going really well.
Poor Nate, on the other hand, gets dumped by Tosha.
"I can't handle a relationship right now," she says. "Maybe we can be friends."
"If we're not going to be together, I think I just want some space."
Nate spends a lot of the fall semester by himself.
He also hangs out with Theo and Opal. Opal tries to teach him to play kicky ball, but he isn't very good at it.
This is Phoebe's last year at Lowell College, and although she's looking forward to graduating, she's really going to miss living with her little brothers. Living in the same dorm has brought them even closer, and she's also good friends with Opal. The four of them have dinner together almost every night.
