back to school again

Fall 2040 - 2040/2041 school update.

Providence Elementary School

With her youngest child off in college, Samantha is even more devoted to her students. She teaches the youngest students, first through third graders.

Piper Cooper and Alex Smith are in the second grade. They've been best friends since kindergarten, but since he lives in town while she lives all the way over in Forest Hills, school is the main time they get to see each other.

Samantha's granddaughter Katie is in the first grade, along with Andrew Wilder.

Avery Myers is in the third grade, and she isn't too happy to have to be in the same class as the little first graders.

Michael Wilder, on the other hand, likes being in the same class as his little brother Andrew.

The elementary school has a beautiful music room. All of the kids taking music lessons have class together.

Christa Roseland coaches the kids on how to hold their violins. "That sounds great."

Christa teaches grades 4 through 6.

There are four kids in the fourth grade: Jamie Smith, Jodie and Sadie Stanton, and Dylan Wright.

Jamie likes playing with the Stanton twins.

But the Stanton twins mostly just play with each other. They love to gossip about their oldest sister Meg.

Luckily Jamie is good friends with Rachel Cooper, the only fifth grader. They're both very active, and they love playing on the playground together.

Providence High School

After years of overcrowding at the elementary school, Providence just built its first high school.

Caroline Wilder teaches the oldest students, grades 10 through 12...

...and Tommy Ottomas teaches the 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.

Christopher Long is in the 8th grade this year, and he enjoys picking on the new 7th graders.

Tom doesn't mind too much, and he and Christopher end up playing catch outside of the cafeteria.

Hormones are running wild through the high school. Alison Cameron is completely smitten with Toby Wright. Georgia Long isn't as impressed.

"Ugh, high school boys," she sighs.

The younger kids aren't immune. Laura Wilder thinks Tom is pretty hot!

"Gross," says Libby Stanton.

Libby isn't very interested in romance. She'd rather just play around with her friends.

Tom has plenty of girls swooning over him. He's completely smitten by Margaret Long. But maybe throwing water balloons at her isn't the best way to impress her.

  1. I love the pictures at school. Poor Jamie likes to play with the Stanton twins, but they only want to play with each other. At least she has Rachel Cooper. My favorite picture though has to be Libby putting that guy in a headlock.
