Lowell College: Fall 2037
Fall 2037 - Juniors: Anthony Cooke, Paul Ottomas, Brittany Parker; Sophomores: Clara Long, Anjali Ramaswami, Padma Ramaswami.
Anthony and Anjali spend a lot of time studying together in the Goode Observatory. Anthony is a physics major, and Anjali is planning to declare physics in the spring.
They're both active in the astronomy club.
Padma has also become more involved in school activities. She joins the cross country team to stay in shape.
After their fight last semester, Padma and Paul have been avoiding each other, but it's impossible for them not to run into each other since they live in the same dorm. She's seen him flirting with some hippie girl who lives on his floor.
She's always swooning over his art. "You're pottery is, like, so awesome," she gushes.
Romance seems to be in the air. Brittany meets Christopher Seiff, and the two hit it off.
He graduated from Lowell College a few years ago, but he starts coming around to hang out with Brittany.
She thinks he's pretty cute, and he seems to like her a lot too.
Clara has a crush on Prof. Patrick, a young assistant professor. At first she just comes by his office hours a lot, but eventually they start spending time together outside of class.
They both know they shouldn't get involved, but they can't help it. They'll have to be more discrete from now on.

Uh-oh, I hope Clara is careful. Getting involved with a professor might not be a great idea if people find out about it!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to find a guy for Clara, but I wasn't expecting him to be her professor! We'll see how it goes. Even though it's sketchy, I may let her stay with him; I can't find a better guy for her, and this will let him become a playable character.

ReplyDeleteEveryone did pretty good with their grades, even Padma with a C isn't too shabby. I like the shot of Padma running in the dark, the colors are really pretty in that photo.

ReplyDeleteIn the real world, I think professor-student relationships are inappropriate, but these are just sims. Clara and Prof. Patrick are pretty cute together, and they have a pretty high attraction. I think of him as a brand-new junior faculty member, and since sims don't go to grad school, that would make him about 24, five years older than Clara. I haven't decided what subject he'll teach, but I'm going to have him be a professor in a different department from her to reduce the sketchiness.
Wow, great grades! Good idea to make the professor close to Clara's age and teaching a different department, it makes it a little better as you say.
