walking the dog

February 2033 - Cyd Roseland is 29, Christa Roseland is 27, Charlie is 12 months, Tommy Ottomas is 22.

Cyd and Christa had their first child last year, a son named Charlie. They live in a small farmhouse outside of Providence, not far from the Wilder's farm.

Christa loves being a mother. She works as a substitute teacher at Providence School, so she's out of the house during the day, but she tries to spend as much time with Charlie as possible before school and in the evenings.

Christa is offered a permanent position as an elementary school teacher at Providence School. She's very excited about being a teacher, and she's also glad that she can keep working in Providence. She's become friends with several of the teachers, including Caroline Wilder and Tommy Ottomas.

Cyd stays home with Charlie. He runs a dog training center and animal shelter out of their home.

Right now they have two dogs, Porthos and Suzie.

Porthos is a sweet, well-trained small dog. Cyd has owned him for several years.

Suzie is just a puppy. Cyd adopted her a couple of years ago.

Suzie and Porthos get along very well.

Cyd also tries to befriend some of the stray dogs who live in Providence.

Providence is full of strays, and he's trying to build up his animal shelter by adopting and training the strays so other people will want to adopt them. It's hard to gain their trust, but he's patient and very good with dogs.

  1. Love that he's giving home to the strays and training them. I hope he's able to find them good homes. This family is adorable, and Charlie is a cutie. I like all the snow, and their kitchen seems so cozy, I think that the mat really adds a touch of homeyness to it.

  2. Thanks retromaisie! I really like playing the Roseland family; their son is so cute, and so are their dogs. It's hard to get Cyd's relationship score with the strays high enough to adopt them, but hopefully in a few rounds they'll have more dogs.
