July 2043 - Caroline and Charlie Wilder are 41, Riley is 18, Laura is 14, Michael is 10, Andrew is 8, Rose is 4, Lucy is 2.
The Wilders' second youngest child Rose is turning five in a few months. She's a bright, energetic girl, and she can't wait to start kindergarten in the fall.
She and her sister Lucy are very close. They spend a lot of time drawing together. Rose already shows some talent for art.
Rose loves playing with her older siblings. Andrew can't wait for Rose to get bigger so she can play outside with him and Michael.
Caroline spends a lot of time outside tending the vegetables.
All of the fresh vegetables are good for growing kids.
Now that the kids are getting older, sometimes Caroline and Charlie can steal a few minutes alone together while the older kids look after the younger ones.
"So what do you want to do for Rose's birthday?" Charlie asks.
"I was thinking fresh fish," Caroline says. "We have plenty of trout, and I can make a salad with the fresh tomatoes."
The whole family gathers for Rose's fifth birthday for dinner fresh from the farm and a homemade birthday cake.

ReplyDeleteAww wish there was a picture of Rose aged up! I bet she's adorable. I really liked the photo of the girls playing together, cute little blondies.
ReplyDeleteThey will have a good chance of having a red haired baby in the future, especially if they have a blonde husband. :) Let's hope they find a blonde cutie to marry one day!
