February 2040 - Sheila and Tommy Ottomas are 29, Katie is 5, Sean is 2.

Sean loves having a big sister to play with. She's at school for most of the day, but every morning before she leaves for school, she comes into his room to say hello.

Sean is a very active little boy. Sometimes the cats wish he were a little less active.

Tommy is very involved in his children's lives. As a teacher, he gets weekends and holidays off, and he's home every day by 4 PM.

He works hard to enrich his children's eduation at home. Even though Sean is only two, they've already started doing verbal exercises together.

Sheila gets home from the robot store a few hours after her husband. Katie runs outside to meet her mother every afternoon.

"It smells great, honey," Sheila says.

"Thanks," Tommy says. "Dinner will be ready soon."

They always make a point to sit down to dinner together. Tommy bangs away in his high chair, but his parents try to ignore the racket so they can hear all about Katie's day.

Tommy gets cranky right after dinner. "It's okay baby," Sheila says. "I just need to give you a bath, and then it's time for bed."

Sheila gives Sean his bath every night so she can spend time alone with him.

Tommy uses the time to help Katie with her homework. When one parent is a teacher, homework always gets done.

Tommy has been talking about having another child, but Sheila is skeptical.

"Katie and Sean are a lot of work," she says.

"If you want, I can get up with Sean tonight," Tommy offers.

Sheila really appreciates getting a good night's sleep. The next morning she wakes up happy and refreshed. "Here's your oatmeal," she says to Tommy.

"Yum!"

"What happened to Daddy?" she wonders.

Sheila finds Tommy sound asleep on the couch in the living room.

"Honey, it's almost time for school," she says.

"Mmphhh," he moans.
